Since Dindo now holds the responsibility as head coach, there will be a lot of pressure for him since Archer fans expect a comeback of the Green Archers to the final four next year after a disappointing season 72. Since there are a lot of people who criticize him far what happend 2 years ago he should prove next season that he is a fine "replacement" for Franz Pumaren. Obviously it will not be easy for Dindo to follow the footsteps of his brother which gave La Salle a consistent appearance in the final four and a bunch of titles ever since his brother took over as head coach. As for Dindo, it will be a very steep hill to climb.

BTW Franz Pumaren will still coach dunring the PCCL. His resignation will be effective on January.
14-0 next year?? anyone?? hahahaha!! i think dindo pumaren is a capable coach. i think they are of the same level with franz in teaching their players and having the right strategies for the game. the difference is with the motivation of the players. I think Franz finds a way to talk to his players in a certain way in order for them to respond and he brings out the best in each player. Dindo is a good coach. His system is not far from his brother's too (the pesky full court trap) so it won't be that big of an adjustment for the players.
ReplyDeleteI think Dindo is a legit coach for the system of La Salle. He is the closest you could get. He will get his first title soon.
