As good as Lebron is.. he just acquired a new weapon that every player in the NBA would fear. No one would even dare touch him and no one will even defend him because it's just too risky to try. It's not a turnaround fadeaway jumper like Kobe Bryant. It's something scarier than that.
James has been diagnosed with flu like symptoms and Cavs doctors are treating it as if he has the dreaded Influenza A H1N1 virus. Test results have yet to come out but the doctors are treating it as if James tested positive. Not only James acquired the Cavaliers' new secret weapon; Coby Karl, Darnell Jackson, JJ Hickson and Andre Barrett also exhibited flu like symptoms.
The Cavs will be heading to Texas for final two preseason games. They have 11 players on the injured list as of now. (preseason roster is upto 20 players..) Daniel Gibson (may pasa sa buto nya sa buntot?? pero sa tingin ko ung tail bone ung buto malapit sa puwet sa spinal cord. bruised tail bone eh.. anu tagalog nun?), Anderson Varejao (may pasa sa wrist. anu tagalog ng wrist?), Danny Green (may pasa sa puwet!!! hahahaha..wla lang..), and Mo Williams (eto!! my favorite!!! namamaga ang kanan nyang itlog!!! hmmm.. bkt kaya??? treatment: abstinence.) Delonte West is still out for personal reasons and Leon Powe is still recovering from knee surgery.
Cleveland is still lucky this happened during the preseason. They will be healthy come Oct. 28 and it should be interesting to see the Cavs and Celtics matchup right off the start. The battle for the number 1 spot in the east will start from game 1 up to game 82. Boston, Magic and Cavs will be fighting for that spot and none of them can afford a slow start this season.
